WAYLAND POND

This is the view of the pond from our house. Many hours are spent swimming, diving, and boating on this pond, as well as lots of conversation pondside under the maple tree. It's a very special place.

WAYLAND SUNRISE

This is another painting from the early morning walk in November. The sunrise was spectacular!

VERMONT ROAD

This painting is a view down the road at our campground in Vermont. What a carpet of leaves there was. October is the best!

DINGHY IN THE MARSH

At low tide, when the dinghies are left sitting in the marsh grasses, they look very serene. I have many photos, and someday hope to have painted a lot of them. Each dinghy has its own personality depending on its color, simplicity and location, so you can't have too many paintings of them.

GOLDEN BAY

I love this image. On very windy days, we actually have white caps in the bay. This day the sun was breaking through the clouds, creating some wonderful lighting, and all the grasses were golden. I just had to paint it.

ORANGE SUNSET

I've been at the studio painting up a "storm" this winter. I took the photo reference for this painting here in Duxbury a few summers ago and finally got around to painting it. I put a pumice ground on my paper first which gives it the texture that you see.
