GURNET LIGHTHOUSE

This is the Gurnet lighthouse. The Gurnet is a private community at the end of the Duxbury beach road before you get to Saquish. If you don't live there or aren't a visitor of a resident, you cannot drive in. So, I used to park outside and walk to the lighthouse. This is one of my favorite photos of the lighthouse because of the clouds and the lighting. Can you feel the day?

BLUE AND GOLD

The way the gold shimmers and the peeling paint are what attracted me to this scene.

AMBER GLASS

I love the way light reflects through glass and have a favorite old store that always has an interesting display to photograph.

FULL MOON OVER DUXBURY BAY

In the evening many fisherman can be seen lined up along the Powder Point Bridge, mostly trying to catch that striper on the incoming tide. This evening the moon was so bright and the water was so still. I had just had my first night photography class and was anxious to try my hand at it, and this is what I got. Cordage Park in Plymouth is in the distance.

IT'S A LOW TIDE DAY

Have you ever seen a more beautiful low tide? This is my friend's back yard.

NORTH RIVER, 6 A.M.

I took this photo at 6 a.m. from the side of the highway. While photographing, a police car came up behind me and loudly announced from his car that I was not allowed to be there. It didn't matter because I had already taken the photos that I wanted. I'd like to capture this scene in all the four seasons, but I might need a police escort first.

DUXBURY BEACH - ANOTHER 10!

These days on Duxbury beach are soooo glorious! It's hard to leave and go home. But -- I do, and then come back to see the beautiful sunsets.

DUXBURY BEACH

Summer is coming and I'm thinking of the beach. This is a photo of Duxbury beach, where I spend as much time as possible. I like to go way down to the more deserted part with my pastels and paint in the afternoon. It's euphoric!
