POWDER POINT BRIDGE

This is a pastel painting I just finished of the Powder Point Bridge, a long wooden bridge that crosses Duxbury Bay to the ocean. The photo was taken very early in the morning so that I could capture this view with no cars. The lighting was beautiful -- I couldn't resist.

DUXBURY SUNSET

We had dinner on the beach the other night, and the sunset was beautiful. I brought my camera and tripod to take some photos. The scene of the dunes taken from the beach was really pretty, but I was really excited about the sunset over the bay taken from atop the first crossover. That's the Powder Point Bridge in the distance.

WHALE WATCH

Went on a whale watch yesterday -- a beautiful summer day. We saw many whales, most especially three whales travelling together. They weren't very active, just swimming arouund. It was fascinating.

UNDER THE APPLE TREE

This photo was taken through my car window during a torrential rain storm. The rain was streaming down the window, and I couldn't get out of the car, so I decided to take this photo anyway, from inside the car.
