Here is a picture of the bat house and a bat that has left it. It's funny how the bats just fall out of the bottom and then fly away. And it's amazing how many bats are in that little house. We counted over 60 bats that night.
Welcome to my blog. I'd like to share with you photographs taken on my "photo op" outings, seeking out various lighting conditions and high tides at the beach. The dunes, dune fences and their shadows are very attractive. The rivulets through the marshes during high tide early or late in the day are spectacular. I love sunrises/sunsets and hope you enjoy my view of the world around us.

What a great shot. How many tries did it take before you actually captured a bat in the photo? I've tried this myself, but never succeeded.
I probably took about 60 photos in all. I just kept my eye on the viewfinder and kept clicking until I got one. It wasn't easy.
